Wall meetings – a look at Champion Rhythms

For the 10 years since Champion has been in business, we employed Wall meetings. But we use a special wall.

The purpose of the Wall is to put everything important about Champion out publicly and have it updated regularly. We use large Post-It notes and hand write in the changes. We tape on various graphics and other things that are important to our daily operations.

Wall meetings are at 8:30 AM on Monday mornings. Culture is discussed. But we spend the majority of our time at the Wall going over what is needed in the company for that week. Each person reviews their three most important activities for the week. We all know what is happening and can help others with their activities.

Current activity is known on a timely basis. We are all more confident with an overall sense of direction for everybody.

The Wall is not private – it can be changed by anybody in the office.

Why not try a Wall in your office. Look to see what can be developed faster with greater productivity if everybody knows the entire activity of your office each week.
